Composition

Chemically pure potassium metabisulfite. 

Directions

Dissolve in a little bit of water, must or wine, homogenize it and apply it to the product to be treated using the following doses:

10 - 30g/hl for must, depending on grape conditions

2 - 5 g/hl for wine during clarification, devatting or after filtration
10-15 g/hl for preserving filtered sweet wines

Note

For maximum doses, refer to laws ruling the use of potassium metabisulfite.

Storage

Unopened package: Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.

Opened package: close the package carefully after using the product.

Wine-making industry: in must and wine, it acts as an antioxidant, antioxidasic and antiseptic fighting undesired microflora. It facilitates fenolic substance solubilization.
